The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s technology infrastructure and ensuring its effective operation to support all departments. This role guarantees 24 / 7 availability and functionality of critical systems including front office, housekeeping, accounting, food & beverage, reservations, Talent & Culture, and guest internet services. The IT Manager collaborates closely with department heads to address their technology needs, resolve technical issues promptly, and drive digital efficiency throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Management
- Oversee the daily operations of all IT systems, including servers, networks, PMS (Property Management System), POS (Point of Sale), CRM, telephone systems, CCTV, Wi-Fi, and more.
- Responsible for IT operations and implementation, upgrades and enhancements of brand standards, various new technologies, systems, and projects in the hotel.
- Ensure regular system backups and maintain data integrity.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential disruptions
Support and Maintenance
Provide timely and efficient technical support to hotel colleagues.Maintain all IT hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, routers, switches, and peripheral devices.Manage inventory of IT assets and ensure equipment is updated and functional.Manage and review SLAs of various systems and ser-vices at least yearlyEnsure systems versions / patches are up to date.Handle hotel support before escalation to the regional teamSecurity and Compliance
Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect both hotel data and guest information.Ensure compliance with local and international data protection and privacy regulations.Conduct regular system audits and risk assessments.Compliance with IT Policies and GuidelinesProject Management
Lead IT-related projects including software implementations, system upgrades, or infrastructure developments.Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for procurement, installation, and ongoing support.Develop project timelines and ensure deliverables are met on schedule and within budget.To ensure that technical system documentations (SOPs) are created and maintained up to dateBudgeting and Procurement
Plan, forecast, and manage the annual IT budget effectively.Evaluate and recommend software and hardware solutions that align with the hotel's operational and strategic needs.Manage / Plan hotel / s P&L, Business plan, Budget, future technology investmentTraining and Development
Train hotel staff on IT systems, data security, and software usage.Develop user manuals and reference materials where needed.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT support or management; hospitality experience is strongly preferred.Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera, MICROS, SunSystems, or similar is a plus.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.Only Turkish or candidates which able to communicate in Turkish will be hired.Additional Information
