Our client, a global leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Account Manager to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management and customer service within the healthcare sector. This role involves managing client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for service improvement and growth in the healthcare industry.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and healthcare systems, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Develop and implement account management strategies to meet the unique needs of healthcare clients.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical and IT departments, to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling healthcare services and solutions.
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively, with a focus on patient care and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and present regular account reviews and reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, customer service, or sales within the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on managing multiple healthcare accounts.
  • Proficiency in healthcare IT systems (e.g., EHR, Practice Management Software) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of healthcare data and metrics.
  • Customer-oriented with a proactive attitude, committed to improving patient care and client satisfaction.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MBA or MHA) or relevant certifications in healthcare management.
  • Experience working with healthcare providers, hospitals, or healthcare systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience in managing healthcare contracts and service agreements.
