For our Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation Business Unit, we are looking for Supplier Quality Manager. This role will be responsible for supporting the organization regarding supplier quality in supplier qualification, performance management and development for our medium and low voltage distribution systems manufacturing plant.(Please note that this is not a people management position.) What are my responsibilities?
- Support supplier selection and procurement plan,
- Secure supplier process qualification and performance,
- Support material technical qualification with specialists and coordinate cross functional release,
- Monitor supplier performance and support supplier development based on risk assessment & evaluation,
- Plan and ensure supplier pre-assessment / audits & measure tracking,
- Prepare, Execute & Monitor Quality Assurance Agreements (QAA),
- Define routine incoming inspection plan and incoming skip lot strategy,
- Give technical support to Claim Manager,
- Active participation in material teams.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering,Very good command of English both written and spoken, German is an asset,Proficiency in MS Office Applications,Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management activities (supplier qualification and development, preparing quality control plans and initial sample inspection plans, technical knowledge in material and production processes(i.e. welding, coating, plastic injection etc.)and electrical devices such as (instrument transformer, protection relays etc),Minimum 8 years of experience in (Make-to-order or Engineering to Order type of ) production and quality management. (Air Insulated Switchgear Product knowledge, Lean Production will be an asset),VDA Auditor certificate is an asset,SAP QM Module knowledge is an asset,Experience in application of portals / tools of office365 i.e Sharepoint Online, Power Automate, Power Tools etc. is an asset.What else do I need to know?
Oral and written English skills is a must.Able to work and manage priorities in a demanding environment and support managing supply chain networks.Result oriented and able to manage and influence virtual teams.Open-minded with a strong will for learning, implementing and improving.Seek for opportunities to improve.What we offer
