Operations Team Leader

Description

The principal responsibility of TSCO is to ensure that all trades entered into by the business are properly initiated and accurately recorded in our core banking application. Trades are validated, settled, reconciled, and reported.

Operational Risk is monitored. Controls are implemented, improved and followed in accordance with group and market practice.

Managing Client (Internal and External) and Regulator relationships.

Key focus areas for Head of TSCO are,

• Process Efficiency - Review existing process and procedures to ensure process efficiency while ensuring they are at market and group standards.
• Relationship Management - Establish and maintain a good relationship with all stakeholders as well as External clients, Regulators and Service providers.
• Operational Risk - To continually assess the operational risks inherent in the business unit, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings and the impact of new technology.
• Best Practice - By maintaining periodic liaison with counterparts in other parts of the Group and exchanging ideas regarding similar processes.
• Internal Control - To maintain Deutsche Bank internal control standards, including the timely implementation and adherence of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
• Staffing - Overall supervision of team.
