Job Description
General Responsibility
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Sourcing Coordinator to join our team at JYSK. In this role, you will foster strong supplier relationships through structured onboarding, training, and continuous support. Your primary goal will be to ensure all developed and purchased articles from regional suppliers comply with JYSK standards and relevant legislations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that JYSK articles are evaluated in line with the JYSK Supplier Guideline and applicable standards.
- Proactively assess new articles and address any identified mistakes or deviations.
- Evaluate assembly instructions, packaging, and product labelling to ensure full compliance with JYSK requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to new and existing regional suppliers.
- Organize and deliver training sessions on the JYSK Supplier Guideline, product standards, and relevant legislations.
- Work closely with suppliers to optimize delivery performance and support them in maintaining competitive stock levels.
- Address quality issues in collaboration with suppliers to ensure quick and effective resolutions.
- Follow up on improvement actions for new products before mass production and deliveries begin.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure follow-up on any non-conformities.
- Monitor and support sustainability targets at the supplier level, in alignment with JYSK’s SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) goals.
- Stay continuously updated on changes in the JYSK Supplier Guideline and requirements.
- Regularly update the Sourcing Specialists and Category Managers about relevant changes and the status of regional suppliers and articles.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering fieldsMinimum 2 years experience in manufacturing or supplier quality management.Knowledge of relevant product standards and compliance regulations.Excellent communication and training skills.Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.Willingness to travel to regional suppliers for audits and training.This position requires regular travel to regional suppliers for audits, training sessions, and follow-up visits.Very good command of both English and Turkish (written and spoken)Additional Information
