Wyser is the international company within Gi Group Holding in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.
We are looking for a Product Manager to our client who is the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution.
Responsibilities :
- Source and purchase raw chemicals while managing product-related activities such as stock control, turnover, cost analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Efficiently procure chemical raw materials / products from a selected and negotiated supplier base, ensuring single sourcing for key accounts.
- Provide in-depth knowledge regarding chemical raw material analysis.
- Establish recommended product pricing ranges for account managers and offer strategic insights to the sales team.
- Focus on enhancing the value of existing customers and attracting new ones by aligning with evolving market demands, product trends, and company goals.
- Manage and oversee new initiatives aimed at business growth.
- Regularly accompany the sales team on client visits to better understand market needs.
- Define the strategic direction for the product, manage related budgets, and oversee profitability forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales teams to define and implement a growth roadmap for success.
- Conduct market and competitive analyses related to relevant products.
- Monitor sales performance and activities using defined KPIs, working to improve results in collaboration with sales teams.
- Maintain accurate records of all data and provide reliable feedback to the sales teams.
- Work closely with sales support and supply chain departments to ensure high service standards, planning accuracy, and product availability.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or ChemistryAt least 6 years of experience in product management or sourcing.A demonstrated history of market knowledge in a commercially driven role.Advanced level in EnglishExceptional communication and process management skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.Strong understanding of business, financial environments, and customer needs to achieve impactful results.
