Vendor-Centric & Transformative Leadership
- Own and drive the end-to-end vendor operations strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Champion the "Voice of the Vendor" by ensuring vendor feedback is integrated into product development, policy changes, and operational improvements.
- Partner closely with local and regional teams to optimize vendor health, efficiency, and overall satisfaction.
Stakeholder Management & Market Alignment
Collaborate with local markets to understand regional vendor needs and tailor performance strategies that drive business impact.Act as the liaison between vendors, account managers, and cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and execution.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Product Optimization
Work with front-end and back-end product teams to ensure a balance between ad revenue, vendor experience, and operational efficiency.Partner with account management, CRM, and data teams to develop automated, scalable solutions for vendor performance tracking and optimization.Vendor Performance & Operational Execution
Analyze key performance metrics to identify underperforming vendors, develop rehabilitation plans, and implement structured solutions.Optimize vendor onboarding, retention, and engagement strategies, ensuring seamless experiences across multiple markets.Develop data-driven playbooks to improve vendor performance, increase revenue contributions, and enhance overall marketplace efficiency.Product Strategy & Vendor Experience
Define and drive the agenda for vendor-facing products, ensuring high adoption rates and long-term success.Advocate for vendor-friendly product improvements, influencing roadmaps to enhance the foodpanda vendor ecosystem.Team Leadership & Problem Solving
Lead and mentor a team of subject matter experts, ensuring seamless execution of key projects and initiatives.Act as the primary escalation point for vendor-related challenges, resolving issues with speed and efficiency in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.Industry Trends & Market Insights
Stay ahead of food delivery and trends, leveraging insights to anticipate vendor needs and optimize operational strategies.Use data and industry intelligence to continuously refine vendor operations and drive competitive advantage.Qualifications
7+ years of experience in vendor operations, vendor onboarding, performance management, or program management, preferably in food delivery, e-commerce, FMCG, or technology.Proven expertise in vendor performance management, including scaling operations, driving efficiency, and improving marketplace dynamics.Strong product collaboration experience, ensuring high adoption of vendor-facing tools and process optimizations.Highly analytical mindset – Ability to interpret complex data, generate actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.Exceptional stakeholder management & cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence product, operations, and market teams.Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, providing strategic direction while driving hands-on execution.Structured problem-solving skills – Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment.Excellent presentation & storytelling skills, with experience delivering insights to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
