We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to technically lead our NLP and Generative AI (GenAI) team across multiple domains. This role involves both hands-on development and leadership in building cutting-edge solutions for real-world challenges. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in fine-tuning and evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs), implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) practices, and deploying these solutions at scale. You'll also work on integrating these solutions into our systems using cloud technologies (especially AWS). Domain knowledge in quick commerce is a plus. This position provides the opportunity to lead innovative AI-driven projects, shape strategic decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the technical development and deployment of NLP and GenAI solutions for a variety of use cases.
• Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize LLMs for production-grade performance.
• Implement and improve RAG-based workflows in real-world applications.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to integrate AI solutions into cloud environments, especially AWS.
• Develop scalable NLP models to support natural language understanding, generation, and interaction systems.
• Explore and leverage emerging AI technologies, including deep learning and computer vision (optional), for multi-modal solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and collaborate on innovative AI projects.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and research in NLP, LLMs, and AI to continuously push the boundaries of the company's AI capabilities. Requirements :
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in NLP technologies.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and deploy NLP solutions for diverse tasks in a production environment.
• Proven experience in fine-tuning and evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with RAG in production environments.
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
• Proficiency in Python
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with deep learning and computer vision is a plus.
• Domain knowledge in quick commerce is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
