Materials Scientist or Engineer )

We are seeking a full-time materials scientist or engineer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. This engineer’s primary responsibilities will be in the areas of materials selection, manufacturing, surface chemistry, and materials analysis.

Qualifications :

MS or higher in Materials Science or Engineering or related discipline
At least 2 years relevant work experience
Demonstrated skills in materials design and analysis
Experience with materials production or synthesis

Ideal candidates will also have some combination of :

PhD in Materials Science or Engineering or related discipline

Experience with surface chemistry and modification

Experience with materials sourcing and vendor management

Experience with manufacturing techniques and working with manufacturers

Experience with rapid prototyping

Experience with heat transfer

Experience with fibers, thin films, and textiles

Experience with product development

Experience with project management
