Clinical Application Specialist

Our client, a global leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a  Clinical Application Specialist  in  Istanbul, Türkiye.

As a Clinical Application Specialist, you will oversee all product-related marketing and application activities for our client's surgical portfolio - including Phaco systems, Intraocular Lenses (IOLs), and Ophthalmic Viscosurgical Devices (OVDs) - within your assigned territory and customer base.

Responsibilities :

• Provide clinical and technical training to ophthalmic Health Care Professionals (HCPs) on the cataract workflow, mainly focusing on phaco platforms, IOLs, OVDs, optical biometers, and surgical microscopes.
• Train and certify physicians, nurses, and technicians on the effective use and maintenance of phaco equipment and IOL portfolios.
• Support the development and success of product applications by understanding customer needs and helping improve workflow and clinical outcomes in cataract surgery.
• Collaborate closely with product management, R&D, sales, and application teams to promote a solution-oriented approach across the organization.
• Plan and conduct follow-up visits and clinical education activities, working together with the sales team and maintaining regular communication on trained accounts and field actions.
• Participate in industry events, internal meetings, and cross-functional teams, while building strong relationships with key cataract surgeons and collecting feedback from the field.
