Your Responsibilities
As the Cargo Country Manager at AVIAREPS, you will be responsible for leading and managing our cargo operations in the assigned geography, ensuring the delivery of top-tier services to our clients.
Your responsibilities include :
- Team Leadership : Manage the Cargo Team for AVIAREPS’ client(s) in the region, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.
- Business Development & Sales : Drive business development efforts to increase air cargo tonnage and revenue, consistently meeting or exceeding financial goals and budgets.
- Call Centre Management : Lead a small team of call center agents responsible for reservations and customer services within the assigned airline portfolio.
- Specialized Cargo Product Knowledge : Act as the subject matter expert on specialized product segments such as Pharmaceutical, Outsize, Express, Dangerous Goods, or Live Animals, ensuring compliance with IATA standards
- Sales Calls : Plan and execute high-standard sales calls, ensuring thorough preparation and the establishment of clear agendas and objectives.
- Commercial Strategy : Lead the commercial strategy for the assigned country, maximizing sales from current airline customers and identifying new opportunities to expand the contracted airline portfolio for cargo.
- Data-Driven Decision Making : Utilize all available data to drive strategic decisions and boost sales performance.
- Communication & Reporting : Maintain effective communication with peers, management, and clients. Complete weekly / monthly reports as per management’s processes and contribute proactively to team meetings.
Your Qualifications and Experiences
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experiences :
Air Cargo Commercial Experience :o Ideally, have experience working for an airline or an Airline GSA in a Cargo Sales or Product role
o Alternatively, experience in a commercial role at a forwarder (Agent) or GHA
Fluency in English (spoken and written)Fluency in Turkish (spoken and written)Full Driving LicenceDesired : Experience selling air cargo or logistics solutions to customersDesired : Experience in managing a team in the air cargo or logistics fieldProven ability to manage conflicting and changing demands in a high-pressure environmentExperience managing a multi-disciplined team, possibly across different geographical locations and backgroundsProven communication skills in a commercial setting, both written and verbalAbility to establish and develop strong customer relationshipsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret financial and business dataFlexible working approach and willingness to travelWhat We Offer
