Production Planning Associate

Position Purpose :

You will be mainly responsible for the preparation and communication of short-mid term Production Plans of Make & Pack, Filter and Tobacco Processing Departments. You incorporate Sales orders / forecasts into optimum Production Plans to meet customer requirements balancing inventory level targets, operational constraints, and loading levels. You will also communicates availability of orders / forecast to customers.

The position will be based in Izmir, Torbali and will be reporting to Production Planning Manager.

What will you do – responsibilities :

You will be mainly responsible for;

• Preparing long-mid term production plans in accordance with demand and targets
• Preparing and maintaining daily production schedule and release work orders to production accordingly
• Close following up of daily production to ensure timely delivery
• Analyzing mid-long term plans in terms of capacity / capability / headcount
• Ensuring target / optimum inventory levels with optimum loading of available capacity
• Carrying out clear communications with related parties about production plan and potential risks
• Communicating and coordinating material and urgent changes to shop floor
• Monitoring phase-in / out of demand by taking capacity / capability constraints and material changes into consideration
