Warehouse Specialist

At Johnson Controls, we're looking for a Warehouse Specialist to help optimize warehouse capacity, inventory management, and material flow within our manufacturing operations. This role will play a key part in ensuring efficient warehouse performance while supporting production and business growth.

What You Will Do

• Develop short- and long-term warehouse capacity plans.
• Monitor warehouse utilization and identify potential capacity constraints.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage utilization, and material flow.
• Plan daily receiving, storage, replenishment, and shipping activities.
• Track and improve warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy and space utilization.
• Coordinate inventory counting activities and maintain accurate system data.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

How You Will Do It

• Use SAP, WMS, and data analysis tools to support planning and decision-making.
• Apply inventory management principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Work cross-functionally to proactively solve operational challenges and drive efficiency.
• Leverage data-driven insights to improve warehouse performance and support business objectives.

What We Look For

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in warehouse capacity planning, inventory management, and warehouse optimization.
• Proficiency in SAP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Team leadership or project management experience.
• Good command of English.
