IT Field Support Responsible

Job description

We are seeking a hands-on and technically skilled IT Field Support Engineer to join our team in Bursa. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, support, and inventory management of IT equipment, peripherals, and local infrastructure at customer sites. You will be the on-site technical point of contact for end users, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations and a high standard of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

End User Support

• Install and configure PCs and laptops for end users
• Perform operating system and software installations
• Support user onboarding processes
• Carry out hardware replacement and refresh activities
• Provide on-site technical assistance to end users, including VIP support

Inventory & Asset Management

• Update and maintain the CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
• Manage asset records and lifecycle documentation
• Conduct periodic inventory counts
• Perform equipment labeling and tagging activities

Field Operations

• Install, configure, and maintain printers
• Provide support for tablets and mobile devices
• Support barcode reader devices
• Perform checks on network cabinets
• Conduct periodic reviews and controls of server rooms

Technical Support

• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures
• Perform network connectivity checks and troubleshooting
• Manage Windows updates and patches
• Conduct antivirus checks and maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree (university or vocational school graduate)
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT Field Support
• Solid knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with printer management and hardware/driver administration
• Basic networking knowledge
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset
