As part of our operational consultancy services for Laboratoires SVR, a France-based dermocosmetics company, we are currently seeking to recruit a Logistics and Warehouse Manager to be assigned to the company’s Güneşli warehouse , which operates under the authority of the Istanbul Bakırköy head office . The selected candidate will report directly to the General Manager and the Finance Manager , and will be responsible for overseeing all logistics and warehousing operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely distribution in line with the company's operational standards.

The Logistics and Warehouse Manager will be responsible for coordinating planning, import, storage, distribution, and logistics processes to increase operational efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction. This role will oversee all operations in an integrated manner to ensure timely delivery of products to sales points and customers. The duties include :

Stock Planning

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to generate demand forecasts aligned with sales targets and manage product procurement accordingly,
Enter and track sales forecasts and international product orders in systems,
Ensure product availability abroad in the required quantities and secure timely delivery.

Import Operations

Coordinate import operations and all logistics processes up to the warehouse in accordance with applicable regulations,

Ensure complete and timely procurement of products from production facilities in France,

Determine appropriate transportation models and select logistics providers,

Monitor customs procedures, tax payments, and legal documentation to ensure smooth importation,

Conduct effective negotiations with suppliers regarding price, quality, and delivery terms.

Storage and Inventory Management

Oversee warehouse and inventory processes, ensure tasks are properly executed in the warehouse (labeling in line with products and regulations, appropriate storage conditions),

Optimize inventory management to reduce costs, avoid stockouts or overstocking, and conduct regular inventory checks,

Ensure storage systems operate in integration with the ERP software.

Logistics and Distribution

Organize internal transportation processes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries to domestic sales points and customers,

Manage relations with customs, logistics service providers, and carriers; negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms in price, quality, and delivery timelines,

Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and industry standards.

Invoicing

Manage invoicing processes related to sales and imports,

Handle the processes of issuing, checking, and recording invoices in the accounting system,

Resolve issues arising in invoicing processes and coordinate with related departments.

Required qualifications

At least 10 years of experience in a similar role is preferred,

Hands-on knowledge in planning, imports, logistics, and inventory management,

Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational, planning, follow-up, and reporting abilities, analytical thinking, fast and result-oriented,

Collaborative and team-oriented,

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and ERP systems (preferably with Microsoft Dynamics experience),

Strong reporting ability,

Highly responsible, detail-oriented, meticulous, and systematic worker,

For male candidates : military service must be completed,

Residing in or able to relocate shortly to Istanbul’s European side,

Possesses a Class B driver’s license and no restrictions for domestic travel,
