Senior Software Engineer

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
• At least 4 years of experience in implementation of business software packages like ERP, Warehouse Management Systems, Supply Chain Management and EDI
• Exhibit expertise in the areas of application programming, database and system design
• Possess significant knowledge of MS-SQL and/or Oracle SQL
• Solid working experience in medium to large software projects
• Experience in technical project implementations, design and best practices documentations.
• Solid business analysis experience including requirements gathering, translating requirements into functional and technical specifications, writing test scripts and test cases, and performing manual testing
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills is a must!
• High level of initiative and sense of urgency is a must!
• Solid communication, interpersonal and group facilitation skills
• Ability to travel
• Proficiency in English is a must!

Desired Skills

• Exposure to database structure and design; technology architectures including mainframes, networks, communications or operating systems
• Experience utilizing various project management methodologies
• Staffing and staff development experience
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel
• Strong warehouse management, operations and supply chain business acumen
