Materials Scientist or Engineer )
We are seeking a full-time materials scientist or engineer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. This engineer’s primary responsibilities will be in the areas of materials selection, manufacturing, surface chemistry, and materials analysis.
Qualifications:
- MS or higher in Materials Science or Engineering or related discipline
- At least 2 years relevant work experience
- Demonstrated skills in materials design and analysis
- Experience with materials production or synthesis
Ideal candidates will also have some combination of:
- PhD in Materials Science or Engineering or related discipline
- Experience with surface chemistry and modification
- Experience with materials sourcing and vendor management
- Experience with manufacturing techniques and working with manufacturers
- Experience with rapid prototyping
- Experience with heat transfer
- Experience with fibers, thin films, and textiles
- Experience with product development
- Experience with project management
