Are you a hands-on software engineer with deep AWS DevOps expertise and practical AI / ML / MLOps experience? We’re looking for a versatile “one-person orchestra” who has worn multiple hats—building software end-to-end, owning cloud infrastructure, and delivering ML solutions in production. This role is 100% remote , offering significant flexibility, and operates on a B2B contract basis with an attractive hourly rate of 45-70 Euro per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.

Our client is building out a specialized service area focused on data and AI, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering sophisticated data engineering and AI solutions across diverse projects. This position involves leading a dedicated team of 2-3 engineers, guiding them in the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions, Python-driven data processing services, and robust ETL pipelines.

In select proof-of-concept engagements, the Solution Architect will be responsible for independently designing and developing the entire solution from scratch —covering architecture, infrastructure, data pipelines, model development, application components, deployment, and operationalization.

The scope of work spans Computer Vision (CV), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), Recommendation Systems, conversational AI , intelligent chatbots, vector databases, and API-based process automation. While exposure to multiple domains is beneficial, we expect deep expertise in at least one of these areas not all . What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 AI and cloud engineers, focusing on rapid prototyping of AI / ML solutions within a leading cloud environment.
• Provide invaluable mentoring and technical guidance to both junior and mid-level team members.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to various stakeholders and clients.
• Develop highly scalable services that implement cutting-edge AI / ML functionalities, including NLP and sophisticated ML models.
• Implement diverse machine learning solutions addressing challenging computer vision and NLP use cases.
• Work extensively with Large Language Models (LLMs) , including performing advanced prompt engineering tasks.
• Design and implement intricate data transformation services for applications like automatic translation, transcription, Text2SQL, and intent / gesture recognition.
• Data Pipeline Development : Architect, construct, and maintain resilient and scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from disparate sources.
• Utilize a major cloud platform to implement AI / ML solutions, leveraging services like managed machine learning platforms, serverless compute, and intelligent document processing.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer business challenges and offer expert technology consulting to identify optimal solutions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, acting as a key decision-maker and driving the delivery team forward.
• Define infrastructure as code using industry-standard tools for infrastructure provisioning.
• Design, build, and maintain continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines across multiple integration and test environments.
• Stay abreast of the latest innovations in cloud technology and pursue advanced professional / specialty certifications aligned with personal interest.
