Overview

Traditionally, BioFirst Group has been a pioneer in natural pollination since 1987, with bumblebee production as its foundation. Over the years, we have grown into a leading company in the biological control of diseases and pests, expanding our portfolio far beyond pollination and now including also an impressive range of biopesticides and biostimulants. In order to give dedicated and tailored focus to this category with high sales potential on high-value crops, BioWorks was created early 2024.

To strengthen our growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales & Market Developer who can establish and execute a robust go-to-market strategy for the biopesticides portfolio in the Turkish market.

Responsibilities

  • As a Sales & Market Developer, you are responsible for the sales and market expansion of our biosolutions in Turkey. Your main focus is on developing and implementing an effective market approach, forming partnerships, and maximizing revenue and profit growth. In this role, you will :
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate potential distribution channels, partners, and key players in the French agriculture and horticulture industry.
  • Assess key market trends and the competitive landscape to optimize sales strategies.
  • Present and demonstrate the biosolutions portfolio to potential and existing customers, and further expand our product offerings to new markets within Turkey.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows, events, and networking meetings to identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring effective communication, support, and alignment with BioWorks’s objectives.
  • Provide direct support to the Technical manager.
  • Lead negotiations, close deals, and manage contracts with customers (dealers, distributors and key accounts) in collaboration with the Sales Lead.
  • Actively gather customer feedback and relay it to the Sales Lead, the R&D team, and the Technical Manager.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
  • Report to the Sales Lead of BioWorks Europe.

Qualifications

  • A higher degree in Agro- or Biotechnology, Biological or Bio-Engineering Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with technical sales in agribusiness and an established distributor network in the geography. Specific experience with biopesticides and / or biostimulants / bio-fertilizers is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to analyze sales and market data and develop market strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, perseverance, and a flexible attitude. Able to make decisions independently.
  • Excellent command of English.
