We are looking for a " Data Scientist " for Wingie Enuygun Group's growing team. With this position, you will have the chance to take part in the team that has developed one of the most successful internet businesses in Turkey.

Requirements

What makes you special?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (PhD is a plus) in a quantitative field preferably Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, ideally in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Experience in the travel, e-commerce, or marketplace industry is a plus.
• Moderate knowledge and hands-on experience with one or more of the following : clustering, classification, regression, ensemble methods (e.g., bagging, boosting), recommendation systems, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision (CV), and optimization.
• Familiarity with deep learning techniques and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow is a plus.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.
• Moderate understanding of ML-Ops practices and experience with deploying and maintaining models in production.
• Familiarity with AB testing methodology and evaluating model performance using statistical methods.
• Proven ability to transform raw data into actionable business insights through data mining, statistical analysis, and advanced modeling.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and utilizing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to think critically and strategically.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
