Our Transport Planning team delivers a range of urban and rural design projects, including road improvements, new roads, urban street designs incorporating public transport and active travel, and greenway projects.

The Opportunity

Join our vibrant team and contribute to delivering sustainable transport solutions on complex projects. This role offers the chance to develop your CAD skills and work on projects at various stages, from planning and appraisal to detailed design and construction.

As a 2D CAD Technician at Arup, you will :

• Deliver projects to required technical standards in a timely manner, reporting to the team leader or project manager.
• Prepare 2D drawings to support technical designs for projects, adhering to approved standards.
• Implement appropriate QA procedures for all deliverables.
• Communicate effectively within a team environment with colleagues, project managers, and other internal design disciplines.
• Participate in drawing production processes, with opportunities for training and upskilling in relevant software.
