Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies in collaboration with EMEIA category boards.
- Lead RFx processes (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) to identify and qualify suppliers.
- Negotiate high-value contracts, including volume discounts, long-term agreements, and SLAs.
- Manage supplier relationships through regular business reviews and performance evaluations.
- Maintain and update the approved supplier list and oversee supplier qualification processes.
- Cost Optimization & Risk Mitigation
- Identify and deliver year-on-year cost savings in line with targets.
- Analyze spend data to uncover cost-saving opportunities through consolidation and alternative sourcing.
- Monitor market trends, including commodity pricing and geopolitical risks.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies such as dual sourcing and inventory buffers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling.
- Collaborate with Legal to ensure contract compliance and manage risk (e.g., liability, IP).
- Work closely with R&D and Engineering to source components for new product development.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Utilize procurement analytics (e.g., spend analysis, TCO models) to inform strategy.
- Track and report on KPIs including savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Sustainability & Compliance
- Drive ESG initiatives including ethical sourcing, supplier diversity, and carbon footprint reduction.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, certifications, and sustainability objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.Experience in a multinational environment is highly desirable.CIPS certification or equivalent is an advantage.Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.Proven ability to manage change and drive performance improvements.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Proactive, results-oriented, and resilient with strong planning and prioritization abilities.Performance Metrics (KPIs)
