You will report to Sr. Director Medical & Marketing BAAF (Business Area Africa), and the role is based in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The Position
As a Marketing Director, you will independently develop a mid to long-term marketing strategy with a strong emphasis on cardiometabolic portfolio strategy, driving launch excellence, campaigns, and provide strong guidance for execution. You will define the go-to-market strategy, apply a market-fit approach by aligning with global / regional cross-functional medico-marketing guidance and strategy and prepare the organization for the current and future business needs and ensure the cardiometabolic portfolio achieves its full potential.
Qualifications
You have a master’s degree in business or LifeSciences. You have at least 7 years of years of proven experience in pharmaceutical / healthcare, regulated industry business development and marketing in commercial setting and deep understanding of medical data & marketing, developing strategies and executing on management level. You have the knowledge gained by commercial / marketing positions with experience and ability to work cross functionally. Regional or a business area experience is an advantage. You should have excellent command over both written and spoken English.

Business Area Africa is a newly established business area responsible for Novo Nordisk’s operations in 5 fast growing affiliates : South Africa, Egypt, Middle Africa, Morocco and Tunisia. From our Business Area office in Istanbul, we set strategy, drive impactful initiatives in support of the strategy and provide functional support to the General Managers and functional colleagues across these affiliates.
