Role Overview :

Huntsman is seeking a leader to oversee the operations in Huntsman EMA System house our Chemical production plant in Istanbul (Tuzla). Responsible for safe and efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading the production, maintenance and engineering team. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in chemical manufacturing, and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance. This role would be part of the Regional Leadership team.

Role Responsibilities :

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for :

• Maintaining a safe working environment by enforcing Huntsman safety policies.
• Conducting regular safety audits.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, including environmental and occupational health standards.
• Liaising with legal authorities / agencies for applicable licenses / permits / statutory reporting and keep abreast of EHS legislative developments.
• Developing and implementing production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Monitoring and optimizing production processes for safety, efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Leading continuous productivity improvements with a focus on speed and flexibility through business tools and support the implementation of the manufacturing strategy.
• Decreasing performance bottleneck by implementing projects and equipment managements.
• Ensuring flexibility in the production equipment and resources to enable a fast introduction of new products (time to market), reduce lead times, ensure a high service level and a low inventory.
• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and maintenance expenses.
• Collaborating with Huntsman corporate teams to implement new technologies and improvements.
• Leading, training, and supervising production staff to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement (Lean).
• Conducting performance evaluations and implementing strategies to enhance productivity.
• Ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborating with the quality control team to address deviations and implementing corrective actions.
• Managing production budgets and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Preparing and presenting production reports to senior management.
