Application Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Train, support and collaborate with Sales, Customer Care, and Portfolio & Technology Development in identifying customer needs and innovative solutions fulfilling technical and application-related specifications considering sustainable total cost of ownership (STCO)
• Attain and maintain deep industry knowledge of belting / conveying solutions, products & services, and customer applications in assigned industry segments(s)
• Support and provide application engineering training for internal resources and customers
• Leverage all available systems (CRM, ERP, etc.) to capture, track and manage customer issues, commercial activities, and problem resolution
• Maintain knowledge of internal products, services, and updates and stay informed about competing products and servicesWork with Operations (fabrication & assembly) to identify and resolve any customer-related challenges and / or sales opportunities
