What will I be doing?
As a Duty Manager , you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :Provide consistent and superior service, and maintain high service standardsActively seek verbal feedback from customers on a regular basisAgree and implement actions to improve customer servicePositively deal with and learn from customer complaints and commentsEnsure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectivelyWelcome personally ‘special attention’ and VIP guestsBe fully aware of and competent in accident report procedures, maintenance fault reporting procedures, fire policy and procedure, bomb threat procedure, doctor assistance procedures and First AidHave perfect knowledge of the company’s Health & Safety Policy and act accordinglyHave thorough knowledge of department Brand StandardsEdit Duty Manager Log daily and distribute it to all related peopleEnsure all comments referring to SALT and Guest Assistance are inserted in guest profiles for future referenceMaintain daily completion of the DM checklistEnsure daily follow up on DM reports by the appropriate departmentReport defects and faults to the appropriate department and follow up on themContribute to overall hotel security by reporting unusual occurrences to the security departmentEnsure the shift is reviewed, handover and briefings are carried outMaintain in-depth technical knowledge and skills required for the jobWork within all pre-set budgetary limitsWhat are we looking for?
