Cloud Edge Engineer

Location :

Europe based working European time zones, this role will be remote with expensed travel to customer sites within Europe where necessary.

The opportunity :

A self-starting Cloud Operations engineer with a solid background in automating deployments and production operations is what we're after. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for creating, testing, and deploying comprehensive solutions for deployment automation. In addition, you should be prepared to troubleshoot and handle complicated production difficulties while contributing to the uninterrupted functioning of cloud services. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for creating and executing top-notch public, private, and local cloud solutions for our clients. Requirements

• Oversee and upkeep the infrastructure supporting Cloud services on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Collaborate with remote cloud operations teams to ensure ongoing cloud service operations.
• Resolve issues with the production infrastructure and applications and follow up on any problems found.
• Performing investigations into and subsequent resolution of underlying causes.
• Collaborate with external carriers and development / quality assurance teams to address and avoid problems.
• Assist with launching new releases, maintaining existing systems, and expanding into the cloud.
• Scalability and service availability can be enhanced by process, automation, tuning, and tools.
• Evaluate the efficiency of the service, pinpoint any problems, and propose solutions.
• Make service monitoring more efficient, accurate, and comprehensive.
• Ensure cloud security and compliance by actively participating in related projects.

Your Qualities :

Familiarity with implementing cloud security and compliance measures is an asset.
