Field Service Specialist / Engineer

Our client, a global leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Specialist / Engineer to join our client's team. You will be responsible for servicing ophthalmic instruments.

Job Description

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, installations, and system upgrades for assigned ophthalmic equipment within your designated service area, in accordance with training and official guidelines.
• Complete all scheduled service tasks within or ahead of designated timeframes.
• Accurately document each service activity and maintain up-to-date records in the service management system.
• Ensure all service-related documentation is completed in compliance with quality standards.
• Calibrate service tools as required and maintain proper documentation per quality protocols.
• Manage and maintain testing equipment and spare parts inventory effectively.
• Escalate any product-related or patient-impacting issues to Regulatory Affairs and support investigations related to customer complaints.
• Deliver on-site customer training as needed, ensuring correct product usage and maintenance.
