General ObjectiveLead and oversee quality assurance and technical management throughout the product lifecycle - from development to final shipment - ensuring robust quality systems, compliance with buyer standards, and continuous improvement across all vendor partners. Drive first-pass product accuracy, factory quality performance, and preventive quality strategies aligned with company values. Regular domestic and occasional international travel (e.g., to Egypt and Morocco) is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control strategies; attend pre-production meetings and ensure inline and final inspections meet KPIs, aiming for zero rework.
- Prepare and maintain a rolling 4-week global QA inspection plan covering factory and QA personnel mapping; coordinate with India HQ and third-party auditors.
- Review and provide feedback on inspection reports, driving corrective actions and improvements.
- Oversee technical sample approvals with focus on proto, pre-production, and TOP samples; ensure buyer comments are understood and addressed.
- Track sampling and bulk production progress against plans; ensure closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) within 15 days post audits.
- Manage customer quality claims, aiming for zero seasonal claims through vendor support and preventive measures.
- Enforce 100% compliance with QA SOPs; conduct internal audits and improve vendor capabilities.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with labor, environmental, and buyer codes of conduct in partner factories (target ≥95%).
- Ensure high pass rates (≥95%) in internal and external audits such as BSCI, SEDEX, ICS, etc.
- Conduct planned vendor visits (≥4 / month), document QA performance, and share insights with stakeholders.
- Analyse and resolve customer complaints and claims; coordinate with suppliers for corrective actions.
- Respond promptly (within 24-48 hours) to buyer QA queries and audit documentation requests.
- Mentor and develop QA team members through monthly sessions and on-the-job training.
- Manage recruitment of QA and technical staff for Türkiye and North Africa offices.
- Lead weekly factory walkthroughs with junior QA teams to reinforce SOP adherence and inspection standards.
