Financial Controller

Job descriptionManage accounting and control processes (including billing, A / R, A / P, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, and revenue recognition) Ensure timely and accurate execution of monthly and yearly closing processes (statutory and management reporting - P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Ensure full compliance with group policies and accounting / regulatory standards (IFRS, local GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, FCPA, etc.) Oversee cash flow including investments, collections, and payments Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies Conduct cost analyses, identify savings opportunities, and implement profitability improvement measures Collaborate with regional FP&A and operations teams for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Establish strong control linkages between clinical operations and financial data Manage tax processes (VAT, corporate tax, etc.) timely and accurately Coordinate with internal and external auditors and develop internal control systems Handle negotiations with suppliers and health insurance companies Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure local and global regulatory compliance Supervise, mentor, and support the professional development of the finance team Coordinate with other departments effectively Participate in financial statement preparation, general ledger, and period-end closing processes

A successful Financial Controller should have :
- Proven experience in a financial controller role.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Bachelor's or preferably Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- CPA certification
- Minimum 6-7 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills.
