What you’ll do
- Administer and support the Active Directory infrastructure, including user account management, group policies, and organizational units.
- Designs, deploys, manages and serves as primary expert for the multi-forest Microsoft Active Directory environment.
- Troubleshoot Active Directory issues such as replication problems, authentication failures, and DNS-related issues.
- Monitor and report on AD and network health and performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for AD, including user authentication, access controls, and group policies.
- Support and manage Microsoft networking technologies, including Windows Server, DNS configurations.
- Maintain and support Active Directory Federated Services, related hardware, and technologies.
- Maintain and support the client’s internal public key infrastructure (PKI) and related hardware.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to AD configurations, network setups, migration procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to drive initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior staff members to resolve escalated, complex incidents.
- Create and maintain documentation of all systems and application configurations and modifications.
- Continually seek opportunities to improve the existing AD architecture.
- Manages, migrates, upgrades, demotes and decommissions domain controllers.
- Creates and executes Powershell scripts to configure objects and Group Policy.
- Utilizing the Change Management process, applies changes and upgrades to the Active Directory environment.
- Revise and control AD disaster recovery plans
- Maintain DC patching and upgrades
Who you are
University degree or equivalent education and experience.Technical Proficiency :Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in managing and supporting Windows Server and Active Directory environments.Proven experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, LDAP, and Group Policy.Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and management tasks.Incident Management : Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing, prioritizing, and resolving IT issues, with the ability to escalate complex problems when necessary.Customer Focus : Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to interact effectively with senior leaders in time-pressure situations.Problem-Solving Skills : Solution-oriented with a proactive approach to resolving challenges efficiently and effectively.Flexibility : Ability to support off-site executive events, provide after-hours assistance when required, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Certifications : Relevant IT certifications (, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.Language : Proficient in both written and spoken English.
