Description
- Follow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
- Assist in the Product Development process to ensure that products meet customers’ quality and budget requirements
- Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production
- Arrange sample submission to customers for approval
- Handle merchandising related documents
- Negotiate price & timeline, prepare cost sheet and T&A
- Manage of development and orders, follow up production and the delivery time frames
- Price negotiation, sourcing suppliers to meet requirements and advance cost effectiveness
- Communicate and prepare meeting with suppliers / buyers for mostly UK and USA customers
- Manage the sourcing business of the mostly UK and USA based customer
- Understand the customer needs and requirements, develop an effective sourcing strategy
- Ensure that shipping and sampling shelves are stocked at all times
- Distribute completed sample requests to the appropriate managers
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Able to follow up all work from start to finish
Requirements
Experienced in knitting and good fabric knowledgeExperience in UK, USA market is plusUniversity degree textile engineering, business administration or familiarMinimum 5 years relevant experienceStrong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development processAble to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail mindedAbility to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external partiesWell organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem solving skills, able to meet deadlinesExcellent command of written and spoken EnglishLiterate in Microsoft office programsOccasional travel is requiredIf this sounds like you, Apply Now!
