We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Finance Specialist to join a fully remote, globally distributed team focused on digital innovation and eCommerce growth. In this role, you will support key financial processes including reporting, forecasting, and daily operations. You'll collaborate closely with leadership while gaining hands-on experience across diverse financial activities. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to grow their finance career in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment where initiative and analytical thinking are highly valued.

Accountabilities :

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Contribute to developing cash flow forecasts for individual businesses and consolidated operations.
  • Support profitability analysis at departmental, employee, project, and client levels.
  • Generate reports on personal and corporate expenditures, helping monitor cost trends.
  • Manage daily financial tasks, such as invoicing, credit card reconciliation, and month-end closings.
  • Track and follow up on accounts receivables and payables, ensuring timely processing.
  • Evaluate costs associated with company tools, ensuring compliance with budget goals.
  • Participate in financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Support ad-hoc finance-related projects and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience or academic background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and financial software.
  • Detail-focused and analytical, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment using tools such as Slack.
  • Self-disciplined and organized, with the ability to work independently while adhering to internal procedures and controls.
