The Opportunity
This position works out of our Istanbul location in the In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
What You’ll Do
- Achievesalesquota per plan by servicing the current customer base, increasing thesalesvolume to that base andestablishing new accounts. Complexity is moderate (territory and / or assigned accounts, products / services,salesoraccount management process)
- Has moderate authority to makesalescommitments for assigned efforts and is accountable for results within established guidelines. May provide input to division-widesalesstandards, practices, procedures and policies and / or tenders.
- Implement comprehensivesalesplans to ensure increasedmarket penetrationand establishing ofnew accounts
- Develops and maintains a good understanding of EP products
- Must share expertise about product specifications with the health care professionals during the procedural cases
- Prepares reports and drafts initial conclusions / basic analysis; and performs required administrativesalesduties, e.g., filing expense account reports,scheduling appointments, and making travel plans
- Maintainbusiness operationsin accordance with corporate policies in respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, expense reporting and Quality guidelines.
- Follow and share the best practices guidelines before and after thesalescall.
- Develops knowledge / awareness of competition products
- Act as Company ambassador at all times i.e. represent the Company in a professional manner and with highest integrity while interacting with customers and assigned institutions, physicians and technicians, customer purchasing and administration.
- Proactively plans weekly travel schedule and communicate this through the appropriate channels in country / division
- Apply the company Account Profiling system and ensure the following basic information is incorporated in the accounts : people, their preferred behavioral styles, volume of product, competitors, local politics, decision structure including decision makers, needs, brief history, proposed minimum call frequency
- Is responsible to comply with the H.C.P. guidelines
- Aftersales operations, have responsibilities EP procedural case coverage
Required Qualifications
Basic understanding of (Cardiac Electrophysiology-EP ) product lines and acquiring fair understanding of business, financials, products / services, the market and the needs of assigned accountsBachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent1-3 years of successfulsalesexperience within medical device industryExcellent personal computer skills includingMS Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.Preferred Qualifications
