Position Summary

We’re looking for a Shopify Front-End Developer with 2 years of experience to join our remote team. You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to improve and maintain Shopify storefronts for a wide range of e-commerce clients. This is a a great opportunity to grow within a structured, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs with clean, semantic mark-up
  • Maintain and enhance existing storefronts without compromising functionality
  • Collaborate with the team on planning, problem-solving, and feature implementation
  • Debug and optimize front-end performance and codebase efficiency

Required qualifications

  • 2 years of front-end development experience, ideally in a structured e-commerce environment (8+ employees)
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript , including DOM manipulation and asynchronous programming-
  • Strong skills in HTML / CSS , including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Strong interest in AI technologies and practical experience using tools like Cursor and ChatGPT to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Comfortable working with Git and standard version control workflows
  • Strong problem-solving ability—able to debug issues and optimize existing code
  • Ability to learn independently and bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Clear and professional communication skills; able to work across cultures and time zones

    • Nice to have (not mandatory)

  • Deep understanding of native browser APIs and advanced DOM manipulation
  • Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar
  • Experience with API integrations (REST or GraphQL)
  • Testing mindset, with exposure to unit and integration testing

  • Fully remove work, with an 8-hour working day. Work starts at 8-10 AM Kyiv time
