We are looking for a technical customer service manager for the Foundry business unit in Elkem Silicon Products (ESP) division. You will be the main person to drive technical customer service in Turkey, which is a fast growing market. You will develop and implement technical solutions for our customers and will be in close co-operation with the European TCS manager, Regional Sales Manager Europe and Ekspert, our partner for Turkey.

Most important areas of responsibility :

  • Offer technical support to iron foundries in Europe with Turkey as main focus.
  • Develop technical solutions in co-operation with regional TCS and Sales manager which are in line with the strategy of the Foundry business unit
  • Close co-operation with partner in Turkey and other country sales managers
  • Participation in internal Elkem projects as member or project leader.
  • Prepare presentation material and participate at conferences, seminars and exhibitions

Qualifications required for the position :

  • Ten years’ working experience in iron foundries.
  • Degree in metallurgy or other study related to foundry industry.
  • Good understanding of demands of iron foundries and being able to convert these into a sales strategy.
  • Fluent in English and Turkish. Both verbal and in writing
  • We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills. To succeed in the position, you must be a good team player, but at the same time able to work independently. You can identify business opportunities and convert this into a strategy for our foundry business to optimize our sales.

    Position reports to the regional TCS Manager Europe.

    Turkey is preferred work location, bu other locations in Europe can be discussed.
