Your Role

As National Distribution Manager in Contract Logistics, you will be responsible for leading all distribution and transportation operations across Turkey. You will manage both new and existing customer relationships, ensuring smooth execution of our logistics services while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency. In this strategic role, you will take full ownership of the distribution P&L, spearhead business development initiatives, and guide your team toward meeting ambitious budget and growth objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving excellence in service delivery and expanding our presence in the Contract Logistics sector within Kuehne+Nagel Turkiye

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and achieve the annual budget for the domestic distribution department, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Lead and develop the distribution team to drive operational excellence and high service performance.
• Proactively explore and pursue new business opportunities to support growth targets within Contract Logistics.
• Respond to customer RFQs and requests with competitive and well-structured distribution proposals in a timely manner.
• Identify and implement synergy opportunities between healthcare and non-healthcare logistics operations to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Manage relationships with both existing and new carriers to meet service level agreements and cost targets.
• Ensure efficient planning, routing, and execution of distribution operations with a strong focus on cost-effectiveness and service quality.
• Continuously monitor regional transportation markets to identify trends, opportunities, and improvements in distribution practices.
• Optimize the distribution network to support strategic goals, improve lead times, and reduce logistics costs.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Development Team to design customized distribution solutions and secure new customer contracts.
• Drive the development of innovative logistics solutions to strengthen market position and increase customer satisfaction.
