RINA is currently recruiting for a BIM Senior Technician to join its office in Istanbul within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.
Mission
The BIM Senior Technician within the Infrastructure and Mobility Department will play a crucial role in supporting the design, planning, and implementation of infrastructure projects through advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques. This role involves creating and managing BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the integration of BIM standards and best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate various design elements into the BIM model.
- Create and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Perform clash detection and coordination reviews to identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for construction and fabrication purposes.
- Generate schedules, quantities, and other data extracts from BIM models to support project planning and management.
- Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings with project teams to review model progress and address issues.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM tools and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in BIM technology and industry trends and implement new tools and techniques as appropriate.
- Assist in the development and implementation of BIM execution plans (BEPs) and ensure adherence to project-specific BIM requirements.
What are we looking for
Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination, preferably in infrastructure and mobility projects.Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D.Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.Excellent technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve BIM-related issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Experience in clash detection, coordination reviews, and construction documentation.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.LI-DP1
