Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :
As Director of Distribution Center (DC) / Warehousing ops & Outbound Transportation mgt Türkiye, the role has an end-to-end functional ownership for the Türkiye market.
- You will be responsible and accountable for the overall end to end management of Distribution Centers and domestic outbound operations for b2b and b2c covering all product types.
- Directing and controlling all aspects of DC & Transport operations by closely working with 3PLs, Transporters, Freight forwarders.
- Drive and collaborate with 3PLs on continues improvements projects, efficiency improvements, operational standardization
- Ensure and drive Operations teams to deliver Türkiye Logistics costs covering all cost types (Fixed, Variable, Cost of Goods sold) within budget while meeting all service level expectations and DC KPIs as per targets.
- End to end accountability for a go live of a new multichannel DC / Warehouse, to manage end to end operations under 1 roof. Coordinate with global and local stakeholders to ensure successful go live in Q1 2026.
Key Responsibilities :
Distribution Centre / 3PL :
Execute 3PL strategy. Lead operations processes including cost budgeting and forecasting activity. Deliver enhanced services with process and cost efficiency for all channelsWork and collate on yearly supply chain cost budget by taking into DC costs, Transportation costs, by considering of inflation, 3PL rate card, Fuel assumptions etcManage E2E logistics operations for Wholesale, Franchise, Concept Stores, Outlets and ECOM channels : warehousing and transportationEnsure successful go live of new multichannel Distribution center, in Q1 2026, by collaborating closely with global and local, both internal and external stakeholders. (tech teams, project managers, engineers, 3PL, etc).Inventory Management : improve stock accuracy. Monitor cycle counting activities, perform inventory reconciliation between physical quantities, WMS and AFS and ensure stock adjustments timely done with required approvals documented.Inventory Management : provide visibility on overall inventory on-hand to Sales and CS, drive free and old season stocks’ clearance initiatives.Work closely with 3PL partners on continuous improvement implementation plansWork with country operation leads in planning DC space and throughput needs in accordance with business growth and liaise with 3PLs on the same (Both B2B and B2C)Deliver monthly and yearly SCM costs in line with budget. Fully own all SCM cost lines for the market (Fixed, Variable, Cost of Goods Sold)Delivery of SCM operational KPIs such as service levels to all channels, inventory integrity, Outbound Transportation KPIs, DC KPIsVendor Management : maintain existing warehousing and transportation contracts, negotiate new and renewals with service providers in coordination with Global Logistics, Global Procurement, Finance and NTPVendor Management : Ensure providers deliver best-in-class services at competitive rates.Maintain, analyze and report to senior management KPIs and DashboardsDrive sustainability initiatives s in DC / Transportation in line with hub / regional / global goals.Liaise with local operations, global risk management teams and external fire safety auditors and ensure all DCs are compliant as per company requirements.Work with adidas global teams and 3PLs teams to implement adidas ADCE (Performance eco system), drive and ensure all 3PLs implementation, with an objective of achieving gold certifications across DCsCollaborate with 3PLs in streamlining and standardizing processes and systems.Coordinate and drive 3PLs on various VAS activities in DC (Relabeling during inter company, pricing labels etc.)Transportation management :
Ensure transportation on time delivery for all channels as per SLAsWork with local operations and transporters in trouble shooting issues such as performance issues, customer complaints, compliance related matters and adidas internal topicsDrive continuous improvement activities with transportersWork with transporters on implementing TMS (Own / External) and drive efficiencies using TMS analyticsCollaborate and drive last mile delivery partners (B2C channel)Manage all contracts related to outbound transportation (B2B and B2C) and work with internal and external stake holders to bring in innovationData driven analyses & assessments of SCM performance, root cause process improvement initiatives.Conduct quarterly QBR with 3PLs and transporters.General Management :
