Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Marketing & Digital Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and digital initiatives to drive brand awareness, enhance guest engagement, and achieve revenue goals. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and digital expertise to effectively promote Sofitel Istanbul Taksim across various platforms.

Qualifications

  • Must have "Hotel Marketing" experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English.
  • Proficiency in using marketing software and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Hootsuite).
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.

Additional Information

  • Build Marketing & Digital yearly plan and budget covering all marketing channels, digital levers, and brand momentum
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing activities including but not limited to SEO, SEA, email marketing, social media, display, metasearch, OTA advertising
  • Create and manage engaging content for digital platforms to drive traffic and increase online visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with the sales and events teams to create targeted campaigns that attract and retain guests.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing materials and services.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to corporate guidelines across all marketing channels.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep the hotel’s marketing strategies current and effective.
