Position Summary :

The role of the Sales Engineer (Turkey) is to assist the Sales team in reaching the revenue goal by providing the highest quality pre-sales technical support and presentations focused on articulating value to the prospective buyer. You will represent NETSCOUT Systems as the product solution specialist and work to ensure the best possible technical solution. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the largest companies, and exposure to market leading service assurance, packet flow switching, and security technologies. Your role will entail positioning the NETSCOUT security and service assurance product set to ensure the best solution for our customers.

You have significant interaction and consultation with customers; therefore, a solid understanding of the sales cycle is key. NETSCOUT Sales Engineers and their Account Managers will be placed in situations to uncover and develop new areas of business and relationships for NETSCOUT Systems.

You will report to the Sales Engineering Manager and work with a close-knit team of highly experienced and skilled Sales Engineers along with some of the most experienced account managers in the industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting sales presentations and demonstrations for existing and potential customers as well as partners.
  • Sales and technical enablement of partners within assigned region.
  • Detailing / presenting NetScout’s product features, operation, support services and outlining the resulting value propositions to customer / partner.
  • Responding to RFP / RFI / RFQs in coordination with sales account Manager.
  • Installing and managing customer technical evaluations of NetScout’s products.
  • Providing detailed / timely customer product feedback and feature requests to product management.
  • Leading technical discussions at partner workshops, tradeshows, and joint selling opportunities.
  • Architecting and recommending specific deployment solutions of NetScout’s products for customers.
  • Performing and managing product implementations at customer locations in close coordination with Arbor operations / deployment team as required.
  • Performing technical product training for customers and partners.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving product issues discovered during the trial or implementation process.
  • Scheduling and conducting introduction of customer NETSCOUT and / or Arbor support teams after completing implementations.
  • Speaking on technical or business-related subjects at industry or customer events on behalf of Netscout.
  • Management of the technical relationship with all customers and prospects of the account manager during the sales process. This includes maintaining relationship with technical contacts within the customer, keeping account information up to date in NetScout CRM system, and attendance at all sales, sales engineering, and product management meetings regarding the customer.
  • Attending social events with customers such as NETSCOUT hosted events, entertaining customers yourself as required with or without the account manager. This may on occasion be out of hours.
  • Research the recent market trends and present how our solution can help customers in these new areas.
  • Develop own relationships in key accounts and a strong contributor to overall account relationships.
  • Adhere to company policies and ethical guidelines.
  • Position innovative products and articulate their value to customers.
  • Substantial travel within region and occasionally beyond is required as well as remote office ability.

Education and other Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience Requirements :

  • 7 years’ experience in IT and / or 5+ years in a technical pre-sales role.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers to understand their technical challenges and requirements and to have effectively proposed desired solutions.
  • Proven pre-sales record of success and achievement for themselves and their team.
  • Solid knowledge of enterprise security, network, datacenter and cloud architectures from an architecture standpoint.
  • Solid knowledge of cybersecurity ecosystem and specifically of technology and market in the Network Detection and Response space desirable.
  • Strong Networking and Application background along with a working knowledge of Linux / Windows operating systems.
  • Experience responding to or creating RFI or RFPs Experience
  • Demonstrable experience to work with large, complex enterprise accounts.
  • Team player.
