This company is a leading global provider of insurance, annuities, and employee benefit programs, serving 90 million customers. 50 countries worldwide and has circa 65,000 worldwide employees.

Responsible primarily for the Finance regulatory reporting of IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts for the assigned countries as required.

Coordinate between the local team and central teams, EMEA PMO and the EMEA regional functional teams (Controllers, Actuarial, Investments)

Ensure primary statements and disclosures are correctly reflected in the financial statements.

Review journal requirements to ensure appropriate chart of accounts established and provide expense splits as required.

Ensure required reconciliations between IFRS accounting rules system, ledger and disclosures and reconcile source input data required for modelling to the ledger.

Test processes for any new ledgers required if applicable (foreign exchange, chart-fields, trails etc.).

Identify and escalate risks and document key decisions and activities (accounting policies, methodology, system architecture).

Aradığımız Profil

Experienced qualified accountant.

Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with stakeholders in the region.

IFRS and USGAAP accounting standards knowledge.

IFRS 17 implementation experience is a surplus.

Experience of large-scale projects or implementations.

Strong analytical skills
