The Opportunity

Join our team to design innovative and sustainable mechanical building services (HVAC, public health, and firefighting) for diverse projects. Collaborate with leading architects, ensure seamless coordination, and deliver high-quality solutions using advanced energy analysis and simulation tools.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Arup, you will :

Involving in building services (mechanical) design activities (HVAC, public health, and firefighting) for a broad range of building / project types. The group works with several high-profile architects on a variety projects,

Working with architects and good communication with clients. Providing interdisciplinary coordination and supervising document production,

Responsible for the delivery of the building services design documents to the client, within time and to the highest quality,

Performing energy analyses using advanced spreadsheets and building simulation software such as HAP, IES, eQUEST, and EnergyPlus is required.

We're looking for someone who is passionate aboutwork on a variety of prestigious projects in Türkiye and overseas. We also value :

• Completion of a Bachelor's and / or Master's degree in mechanical engineering from reputable universities,
• A good grasp of fundamental principles, a willingness to adapt, and develop skills in a wide range of project types,
• Excellent command in English both written and spoken,
• Experience on design to local and major international codes,
• Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment,
• At least 10 years of experience in HVAC design, building energy modelling, and sustainable building design,
• Able to coordinate between mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural disciplines,
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and to take on new challenges,
• Effective communication and presentation skills,
• Demonstrate high standards of accuracy, be proficient at working to tight deadlines and under pressure and be able to prioritize tasks delegated by other team members,
• No restriction for travelling (national & international),
• Having CFD experiences will be an advantage,
• No military obligation for male candidates.
