About the Role
Our partner is seeking a Deputy General Manager of Operations to lead and coordinate all operational functions with a holistic approach, particularly in the food services sector. This role involves managing food and beverage operations for corporate clients, ensuring compliance with national food and safety regulations, and developing new, profit-driven initiatives aligned with market trends.
The position requires overseeing all operational and sales activities in the assigned region, while ensuring full compliance with quality standards, internal policies, and legal frameworks including Law No. 5996 on Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed; Law No. 1593 on Public Hygiene; and Law No. 5977 on Biosafety.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a visionary leader across all company operational functions.
- Plan operational development in line with corporate strategies.
- Supervise and report all regional sales and operations according to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate bidding processes, cost management, and implementation of new projects.
- Manage client proposals, ensure risk-minimizing controls, and establish profit-maximizing pricing strategies.
- Monitor and improve efficiency in progress payment systems.
- Organize and implement training programs for field personnel.
- Ensure all projects comply with occupational health and safety, environmental, food safety, and quality standards.
- Manage regional budgets in alignment with sales and profitability goals.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to increase operational efficiency, employee engagement, and organizational commitment.
- Ensure strong coordination with senior management and other departments.
- Follow industry trends and innovations and apply them to relevant projects.
- Ensure operations comply with food safety, occupational health and safety, environmental, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Fulfill responsibilities under the Integrated Management System framework.
- Lead data security processes in accordance with personal data protection regulations.
- Provide periodic operational reports to the General Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferably Food Engineering).Minimum 10 years of experience in the service industry, particularly in catering, sales, marketing, or management roles.Strong skills in strategic planning and business development.Ability to perform market and sector analysis with strong organizational and planning skills.Quick decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical thinking capabilities.Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.Reliable, result-oriented, and dynamic work style.Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (especially SAP).Fluency in at least one foreign language (preferably English).Valid Class B driver’s license and active driving ability.Willingness to travel.
