EY Türkiye - Valuation, Modelling and Economics Manager

The opportunity

EY Strategy and Transactions provides services within the domain of mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, valuations, modelling, economic impact analysis, due diligence and financial consulting. Through our independent position with respect to lenders, investors, and investment bankers, our team of professionals is ideally placed to successfully support corporate transactions.

EY’s Strategy and Transactions service line has grown significantly in recent years. To support our ongoing growth and our ambitious plans for the future, we are now looking to strengthen our Valuation team at Manager level.

You will be a part of our Valuation, Modelling and Economics team  in Istanbul and you will get the opportunity to work with major corporate clients, financial institutions and multinational companies. We advise our clients in address their strategic planning, regulatory compliance, financial reporting and fair market value documentation needs. Attributes and skills required for success

• A strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering (Management or Industrial) or other related field
• The ability to demonstrate intellectual rigour and commercial awareness, combined with first-class numeracy and analytical skills
• 4+ years of related work experience in valuation, corporate finance, strategic planning, financial modelling; financial / debt advisory
• Strong commercial experience and / or relevant industry or transaction experience,
• Valuation knowledge and experience
• Demonstrated record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects
• Strong project management and organisation skills – as a manager in the team you would be in a charge of projects, discuss directly with clients and mentor junior team members
• Strong knowledge and awareness of evolving data analytics tools and related software, including data visualization and database skills to connect data and deliver decision making solutions
• Experience of managing the client relationship and using this to create new business opportunities
• Communicate effectively with the engagement lead, the client, and the wider team in a concerted effort towards delivering work products of the highest standard
• Excellent report writing, communication skills both oral and written in Turkish and English and attention to details
• Strong interpersonal skills : ability to work as part of a diverse team, build effective relationships at all levels and handle multiple responsibilities
