Chief Accountant

İş tanımıProcess all necessary controls, inputs, and filing related to Revenue Auditing, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Payable. Identify discrepancies and ensure that all financial reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) accurately reflect the true picture of income and expenses by following appropriate controls. Monitor local tax regulations and inform Financial Leaders of necessary changes to be implemented. Oversee tax processes such as VAT, Withholding Tax, Social Security (SGK), Diplomatic Exemptions, Tourism Payments, and ensure timely payments are made. Assist the Assistant Finance Director in the month-end process, including the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations. Participate in any tasks necessary to achieve the highest level of compliance and efficiency in objectives. Fully utilize systems to automate tasks and ensure that transactions are as smooth and seamless as possible. Advanced accounting knowledge, with the ability to manage complex tax and contract environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in balance sheet reconciliation. 3 years of accounting and auditing experience in a high-volume 4 to 5-star hotel environment. Social, flexible, detail-oriented, with strong organizational and negotiation skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
