As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll work closely with our sales team to provide both technical and commercial support to installers, wholesalers, and distribution partners. You'll also assist internal teams with a variety of responsibilities, some of which go beyond the typical scope of a traditional support role.
Your day-to-day will include resolving customer technical queries across the Resideo product portfolio, delivering product training, supporting on-site commissioning, and assisting with inside sales and account support. You’ll also contribute to the development of technical documentation and broader sales support initiatives.
We seek a Technical Support Engineer with a solid background in product support, a proactive approach to commercial collaboration, and a hands-on, can-do attitude. You’ll be comfortable working across a variety of tasks — big and small — and open to regular travel to support customers on-site.
JOB DUTIES :
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and propose the most effective technical solutions for customer projects
- Assist wholesalers and partners in selecting the appropriate products for new installations and developments
- Deliver regular technical and systems training sessions to wholesalers, partners, and end customers
- Serve as a liaison between Product Management and Sales, sharing field feedback, technical case studies, and system innovations
- Support commercial initiatives, providing inside sales key account management support to the sales team
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including the e-catalogue, application guides, and installation manuals
- Create and publish application guidelines for standard product combinations and system solutions
- Translate and / or proofread various technical and commercial documents such as manuals, video content, app interfaces, websites, marketing brochures, and promotional materials
- Provide technical assistance to installers and end-users, both remotely and on-site
