Job Description

The Commercial Director will be fully responsible for leading the hotel’s Sales department. This role focuses on developing and implementing effective sales strategies, driving revenue through account management and business development, and overseeing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Sales team to exceed revenue targets and expand the hotel’s client base.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting corporate, leisure, MICE, and group segments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, DMCs, and corporate partners.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

Collaborate with the General Manager and Accor regional sales teams to align on business priorities.

Represent the hotel in major trade shows, sales missions, and networking events.

Ensure consistent brand representation and high service standards in all client interactions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

Deep knowledge of Istanbul’s hospitality and corporate markets.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Proven track record in driving sales performance in a luxury hotel setting.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Fluency in English is required, Turkish is highly preferred.
