We are hiring a Senior Mechanical or Civil Engineer specializing in station piping design and stress analysis for water pumping and reservoir stations. The role focuses on planning piping systems according to relevant codes (ANSI / ASME / EN) and ensuring mechanical integrity through stress analysis.

  • Plan layout and select fittings for station piping systems according to ANSI / ASME codes.
  • Perform detailed station piping stress analysis (including ANSI Flange Checks) according to ANSI / ASME and Euro Codes (EN13480).
  • Model station piping systems.
  • Coordinate interfaces with P&ID, hydraulic design, civil design, and tank design teams.
  • Determine appropriate wall thickness for station piping.
  • Coordinate the design of steel supports for piping.
  • Produce isometric drawings for station piping.
  • Prepare comprehensive pipe equipment and fitting lists.

    • SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Significant experience in piping design and stress analysis, particularly for industrial facilities or pumping stations.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant codes : ANSI, ASME B31 series, EN13480.
  • Expertise in using piping stress analysis software.
  • Ability to create and interpret P&IDs and isometric drawings.
  • Strong coordination skills.
  • Software Proficiency :
  • AutoPIPE Advanced (or similar stress analysis software), AutoCAD Plant 3D (for isometric drawings), Microsoft Office Suite.
