We are seeking a Senior / Lead Data Engineer (Scala, Elasticsearch) expertise to join our diverse team of highly skilled experts. Responsibilities

Enhance the current search architecture through a comprehensive review
Create and implement new features and modules to enrich the system functionality
Advise clients on search best practices
Expand search capabilities by adding various languages to the system
Conduct code reviews and develop features using the best software development approaches, prioritizing clean code and design
Communicate with customers and actively participate in meetings and demos to align with project goals
Enjoy knowledge-sharing and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment

Requirements

Proficiency in Scala development

Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch and Scala core

Experience with Postgres

Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases

Ability to use Agile methods (Scrum / Kanban)

English language level B2 and higher

Nice to have

Expertise in cloud services such as AWS, GCP or Azure

Background in Redis
